Abstract: The paper presents, in the light of realistically modeled numerical examples, how pursuit-evasion games can be used in the analysis of dynamic antagonistic settings between two decision makers. First, some background of game theory and dynamic games is given. Pursuit-evasion games are then introduced in more detail. The numerical computation of open-loop saddle point solutions as well as the synthesis of approximate feedback strategies based on the open-loop solutions is discussed. Finally, cases related to aeronautical scenarios between a missile and an aircraft and also between two aircraft are presented.
