Background:

Prof. Barbara Fredrickson is a leading scholar within positive psychology and affective science. Her research centers on positive emotions and human flourishing. Her groundbreaking work has been recognized with numerous honors, including, the 2000 American Psychological Association's Templeton Prize in Positive Psychology. Prof. Fredrickson's widely acclaimed book Positivity is an accessible written synthesis of her own research and the science of the positive.
